How to make it

  1. Air Fry the Waffle Fries (8 minutes)
    Preheat air fryer to 400°F (205°C)
    Add waffle fries in an even layer (work in batches if needed)
    Air fry for 8 minutes, shaking halfway at 4 minutes, until golden and crispy
  2. Cook the Spicy Sausage
    While fries cook, heat a skillet over medium-high
    Cook sausage, breaking it up, until browned and fully cooked (8–10 minutes)
    Drain excess fat if needed and season with black pepper
  3. Make Cilantro Lime Sour Cream
    Mix in a bowl:
     Sour cream
     Finely chopped cilantro
     Lime zest + 1–2 tbsp lime juice
     Pinch of salt
    Chill until ready 
  4. Melt the Cheese (Air Fryer Finish)
    Transfer cooked fries to a heat-safe dish or foil pan that fits your air fryer or oven!
    Top with sausage, mozzarella, and sharp cheddar
    Air fry at 375°F for 2–3 minutes, just until cheese is melted and bubbly
  5. Load + Serve
    Drizzle or dollop cilantro lime sour cream
    Top with green onions and pepperoncini
    Add optional squeeze of lime
