Ingredients

Italian Beef Style Toppings

  • 2 cups cooked Italian beef, chopped
  • ½ cup beef jus
  • 1 cup giardiniera drained, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella

Chicago Hot Dog Style Toppings

  • 4 cooked hotdogs, sliced small
  • Yellow mustard
  • Sweet pickle relish
  • ½ cup white onion, finely diced
  • Sport peppers, sliced or whole
  • Grape tomatoes, sliced
  • Celery salt

Deep Dish Pizza Style Toppings

  • 1½ cups marinara or pizza sauce
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup cooked Italian sausage crumbles or pepperoni
  • Grated Parmesan
  • Dried oregano

How to make it

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.

  2. Arrange the waffle fries from both bags in a single, even layer across two large baking sheets.
  3. Bake according to package directions until golden and crispy, about 15–20 minutes, rotating pans halfway through for even cooking.
  4. While the fries bake, warm the Italian beef and gently heat the beef jus until glossy, not watery.
  5. Cook and crumble Italian sausage if using.
  6. Cook and slice hotdogs.
  7. Prep cold toppings (relish, onion, sport peppers) and set aside.
  8. Once fries are fully cooked, transfer all fries to one large sheet pan or serving platter. Visually divide the fries into three equal sections.
  9. Build Each Chicago-Style Lane by section.
  10.    Italian Beef Style Fries
Top one section with warmed beef. Spoon a small amount of jus over the beef. Add giardiniera and finish with shredded cheese.
  11.   Chicago Hot Dog Style Fries
Top the second section with hotdog slices, mustard, relish, diced onion, sliced grape tomatoes, and sport peppers, finishing with a light dusting of celery salt.
  12.    Deep Dish Style Fries
Spoon marinara over the third section, then top with mozzarella and sausage or pepperoni, finishing with grated parmesan and oregano.
  13.   Return the pan to the oven for 5–7 minutes, just until cheese is melted and toppings are warmed through. Avoid overbaking to preserve fry texture.

Serve immediately while hot and crispy. Encourage guests to grab from their favorite lane or mix and match!
