McCain Smiles Turkey Burgers with Garlic Aioli

Ingredients

  • 1 bag McCain Smiles
  • 1.5 lbs ground turkey
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • ½ teaspoon Trader Joe’s Green Goddess seasoning (optional)
  • 8 slices sharp white cheddar or American cheese

Garlic Aioli:

  • ¾ cup mayonnaise
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 ½ tablespoons lemon juice
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

How to make it

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a 10x13 baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Make turkey mixture: In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, salt, pepper, garlic powder,
    Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and seasoning (if using). Mix until evenly combined.
  3. Shape and bake: Press turkey mixture into the prepared pan in an even rectangle. Bake 25–34
    minutes, or until juices run clear and the meat reaches 160°F.
  4. Cook Smiles: While turkey is baking, prepare McCain Smiles according to package directions.
  5. Make aioli: In a small bowl, stir together mayonnaise, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
    Refrigerate until ready to use.
  6. Cut patties: Once turkey is fully cooked, remove from oven and carefully lift out the parchment. Drain
    excess juices. Let rest briefly, then cut into 2-inch rounds with a cookie cutter or into squares.
  7. Assemble sliders: Arrange 14 McCain Smiles on a baking sheet as the bottom 'buns.' Top each with
    a turkey patty, slice of cheese, pickle (optional), and a dollop of garlic aioli. Press down another McCain
    Smile as the top bun and enjoy!
